Ed Sheeran was picked as Male Artist of the Year, and his "Shape of You" won honors for Song of the Year, on Sunday at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Notably, it was a momentous night for Cardi B, who walked away with two of her five nominations, earning a trophy for Best New Artist and for Best New Hip-Hop Artist following an electrifying opening performance of her smashes, including "Bartier Cardi" and the now-quintessential "Bodak Yellow". Ha-ha-ha", she shared. "My album will be coming in April. "Stay tuned mother f-kers owwww", she said in her acceptance speech. Camila also revealed that the track is close to her heart for another personal reason: "My grandmother loves that song!"

Back in November, Cardi took to Twitter to share that she was under a lot of pressure and she felt it her songs needed more work.

The fourth-annual awards show was held at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. He pulled ahead of fellow nominees Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown, and Lauren Alaina and noted "I just want to say thank you".

She continued, "I want to thank my fans because even when I'm wrong they be like she's still right". But it benefits me.
