William and Kate's third baby to be born in St Mary's Hospital

William and Kate's third baby to be born in St Mary's Hospital

The Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital is said to be preparing for the royal baby's arrival as parking suspension signs have been put up outside the maternity ward in Paddington, London.

The Duchess of Cambridge is planning to give birth to her third baby at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London - as she did with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The suspended parking notices will run from today until April 30, so it's just a waiting game from here.

Paddy Power has been forced to suspending betting for Kate's due date as they have been inundated with bets that she will go into labour on our before Sunday.

The child will be fifth in line to the throne, behind big sister Charlotte, bumping William's younger brother Prince Harry one place down the line of succession, CNN reported.

Upon leaving the hospital, the royals will return to Apartment 1A of Kensington Palace, from where they will issue a bulletin with the baby's name. The announcement would only be made when William and Kate have informed Queen Elizabeth and other members of their families.

According to reports, Kate will once again be cared for by royal doctors Guy Thorpe-Beeston and Alan Farthing.

But never fear because you don't need a press pass or a fancy email to get the official word, everything's going to be announced via Kensington Palace's official twitter so time to turn post notifications on.

Royal fans are expected to start gathering outside the hospital in the coming days, as they did ahead of both George and Charlotte's births. The hospital itself is also doing some sprucing up; the black railings alongside the famous steps, where William and Kate will appear for photo ops with their third baby, have been given a fresh lick of paint. Her birth dominated the news agenda in the United Kingdom and hit the headlines around the world.

While the due date of 36-year-old Kate has not formally been revealed to the public, there is speculation that it could fall close to St George's Day.
