Behind the scenes Avengers:Infinity War filming in Edinburgh

Box office tracking for Avengers: Infinity War suggests Marvel's 19th overall film could end up grossing more in its opening weekend than any of the last seven movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is a closeness they have that makes them more of a family than co-workers - and it really gives a look at how the chemistry on screen is formed.

However, it's not just outdoing "Black Panther". And one look at the trailers of Avengers: Infinity War you'll know he's been smacked by Thanos.

Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" hits USA theaters on April 27. Thanos' story will finally come to the fore in Infinity War and heroes from the entire MCU will come together in an attempt to prevent his mission to wipe out half of the universe. In fact, fans and pop culture nerds have been speculating Iron Man's death in Avengers: Infinity War. It was the highest debut of any Marvel movie since the first Avengers film opened to $207 million in 2012.

The video starts with Chris Hemsworth's Thor being discovered by the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) already seems to have an inferiority complex about having this dude (aka man, aka, god) on board - especially since Drax (Dave Bautista) seems to have switched over to Team Thor pretty quickly.

In additon to all the TV spots, posters, talk show appearances, merchandise and various other promos for the film, Marvel is also dropping a few featurettes to get us excited.

Avengers: Infinity War will unite superheroes from across the whole MCU and the film's cast is a who's who of Hollywood: Josh Brolin (Thanos) Robert Downey Jr.

The fandom has handled Hawkeye's absence from Infinity War promotional material in some increasingly-creative ways - starting petitions, making over subreddits, creating plenty of fanart, and even getting a tattoo inspired by the archer. However, this movie has been hyped not as a amusing Marvel film, but as the culmination of a literal decade of worldbuilding and weaving in all sorts of disparate characters from the aforementioned Star-Lord all the way to icons like Captain America and Iron Man.
