Connor Franta Just Eviscerated Kanye West Over His Support For Trump

"I get along with a lot of people, frankly", Trump said.

Donald Trump appreciated the support. That's what makes us individuals.

"I think you may still be in the sunken place, Kanye!" blogger Perez Hilton tweeted. "And we have the right to independent thought".

Trump, of course, was a fan.

A little digging by Cosmopolitan shows that Chrissy Teigen, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner also aren't now following West, though that doesn't necessarily indicate an unfollow. "I don't agree with everything Trump does". West led the Drudge Report, Sean Hannity called it "a new political landscape in America", and Breitbart posted 11 photos about West's tweets and other related ones on Instagram in 24 hours. West's tweets later caught the eye of the president who tweeted, "Thank you Kanye, very cool!".

On Wednesday, the rapper's wife, Kim Kardashian West, lashed out on Twitter at talk that there is something going on with his mental health.

After West and Trump's Twitter-fest, Legend took to his account on Wednesday to say "artists can't be blind to the truth", though he didn't mention West by name. "I respect everyone's opinion but I stand my ground". Kardashian also said that everyone, including West, should be able to express their own opinions without backlash. So what gives? "Kanye's infatuated with Trump and is considering asking POTUS to be Chicago's godfather", a source told In Touch exclusively.

The Root's Rochelle Ritchie writes: "I would like to think that Owens, who has been sent down to free us from the mental bondage of the Democratic Party, has done some research on these issues, but it's clear she hasn't". On one hand that's lovely that West wants to live in a world where everyone gets along and little old things like racism, sexism and prejudice don't exist, but on the other hand that's so far from reality.

After saying in an interview she would have voted for the president, musician Shania Twain immediately took to social media to reassure people she did not agree with anything Trump said. Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this.

Mentioning that Chance the Rapper also tweeted, writing, "Black People don't have to be Democrats", Doocy asked if Trump thought the black community had been ignored by Republicans of the past. "He never said he agrees with his politics".
