The combined factor of director Rajkumar Hirai, actor Ranbir Kapoor and the biopic of controversial star Sanjay Dutt has led to this avalanche at the box office. Trade analysts predict that Sanju is expected to take the biggest opening of 2018. In fact the business of the film has managed to surpass the opening day collections of his previous directorial ventures like PK that collected Rs. 26.63 cr and 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 12.78 cr. The teaser itself received a good response and has left many fans inquisitive. Yet, #Sanju packs a PHENOMENAL TOTAL on Day 1...

During an interview with India TV, Ranbir also told that Sanju Baba was very happy after watching the flick. It goes on to say that "while Hirani's Sanju is about the paradoxical life of a star, Ranbir's is much more deep and complex". It has got a very big 34 Cr plus on the first day.

35-year-old Ranbir Kapoor is now dating Alia Bhatt and has dated Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone in the past. As per the early estimates, it's a cakewalk for Sanju to cross the magical mark of Rs 100 crores in three days.




Sanju also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal parts.

Rajkumar Hirani's biopic on his close friend and frequent collaborator Sanjay Dutt releases in theatres worldwide today.
