OnePlus 6 Red Variant is Launching in India on July 16

Apparently, last year's limited-edition OnePlus 5T Lava Red, which needed quite a bit of time to expand (in small numbers) from China to India to the USA and Europe, was deemed so successful that the never-settling OEM put a lot of effort into a "bold, eye-catching" fourth version "worthy of the OnePlus 6".

The OnePlus 6 appears to be a success after selling one million units in 22 days. The phone is said to launch globally next week, but will be available in India starting July 16. Marques Brownlee, another tech YouTuber picked up on the news and showcased the red colour variant of OnePlus 6 lying beneath the black colour variant, with just the edge of the new phone protruding out.

The complex process that goes into the creation of each OnePlus 6 Red device elevates it to a higher standard of industrial craftsmanship, unmatched in the industry.

Buy OnePlus 6 Move over OnePlus 5T, the OnePlus 6 has arrived. Yes, there was a red OnePlus 5T previous year. If anything, the company seems keen on making the flamboyant color a regular option for future would-be OnePlus consumers.

In addition to the red option, OnePlus tells us that they'll re-stock their OnePlus Bullets Wireless on July 10 too.

"We believe power and attitude can be both elegant and humble, and we have strived to achieve this with the OnePlus 6 Red Edition". In order to maintain a bright coating, the design team included an evaporated layer of brightening film that cost around $5 to make crystal clear.

For the red edition, Lau says the company "used a new film coating process that's never been attempted before in the smartphone industry" to achieve what he describes an "amber-like depth and clarity". Other than the new Red colour, rest of the specifications remain the same for this variant of OnePlus 6. What do you think of the OnePlus 6 Red? We're not sure how many red shades are there on the color wheel but we welcome any red gadget.
