Pop singer Beyonce lends star power to Texas Democrat O'Rourke

The most recent Emerson poll (October 30) showing Cruz at +3, and the latest Quinnipiac (October 28) showing +5, the RealClearPolitics average is giving Cruz a Cruz +6.8 over O'Rourke.

O'Rourke's loss should put to rest the notion that a left-wing progressive can win in deep-red Texas without compromising on key issues. Ted Cruz in Texas fell short on Tuesday despite a fundraising effort that raised a record-setting amount of campaign donations.

But Triumph seemed ready for the remark and hit Cruz with one parting shot.

The tightness of the race meant Cruz had to lean on his former political rival - President Trump, whom he competed against in the 2016 Republican presidential primary.

'Let's be civil here, OK, because this man - nobody should be yelling at this man in a public place, ' Triumph said.

"What do you have that Ted Cruz doesn't have?"

Aguirre, who brought her oxygen tank with her to the polls and was wearing a "Beto for Senate" shirt, saw the candidate for Senate and got very emotional. Triumph asks Beto O'Rourke before adding, "besides the ability to regenerate your tail?" "Because he's a ugly fish monster!" Preaching optimism and bipartisanship, he also refused to soften a liberal agenda that included calling for impeaching President Donald Trump, decriminalizing marijuana, implementing universal health care and gun control and relaxing federal immigration policies. "I'm not 'overwhelming scientific evidence of global warming'". It's wild that these people are laughing along and agreeing with Triumph, yet are STILL voting for Cruz.

"I'm going to coach you", Triumph told voters.

Cruz, bless him, does his best to appear to be a good sport and even tries to land a barb of his own by reminding Triumph: "Just remember, it wasn't the Republicans, it was the Democrats that took you into the vet to get fixed, and there is freedom on the other side!" "Just like Trump did to you".
